Articulating what people want can be difficult, especially when the subject is precious to them. Engaging people at interview stage was helpful in defining the ‘what’ and ‘why’, now it was time for the ‘how’.

Taking cue from IDEOs method cards, I designed a technique for guiding the interview process. Flash cards enabled stakeholders to more readily describe and critique relevant features. The cards had to be applicable across various project types.

  1. BulletDiscovering the positive impact visual aids have on the interview process

  2. BulletWorking with PDQ Print Services to create durable PVC cards

  3. BulletSeeing the value different people attribute to different aspects of a design

“Do you know where I can get those flashcards that were used in the card sort videos you uploaded?”
